Steel in the Peloton & on the Podium in Winona, IN
Winona, Indiana, May 1-2, 2010 - Once again, the MoSR Team De Rosas performed flawlessly at
the Winona Lake Road Race & Criterium, May 1-2, 2010. MoSR's Todd Andersen placed second
in a stacked Masters Road Race. His second podium finish comes just days after
RoadBikeReview's article of the MoSR De Rosa Corum, which was also picked up by the Italian
Cycling Journal.
It rained on and off all weekend, making for a very interesting and yes, fun time for MoSR. Our
mountain bikers were fabulous! In the DINO Mountain Bike Series, MoSR's Dave McComb placed
12th in the Cat 1 Race, 2nd in his age group.
In Sunday's Criterium, Kent Rekeweg finally got some dirt on his De Rosa and came away with a 9th
place in a large Cat 3 Race and 2nd in the special MoSR Crit for steel frames only. Our juniors,
Kevin Wynder, placed 2nd in his age group, and Nik Moehring, placed 3rd in the crit and road race.
Our club racers, John Fazio, John Taller, and Matt Grate also got into the action and had a blast!
Matt Grate finished 9th in the Cat 4/5 crit and 17th in the road race.
Great teamwork by MoSR's Chuck South, Ray Vasquez, Jim Kruse, Pat Herrick, Justin Forbes, Andy
Grote and John Martin.

Casstown, Ohio, April 25, 2010 - Although the frames were not made of steel, the riders were at
the Colavita TT #2! Despite 20 mile-per-hour winds, all 5 of our TT racers competed twice on April
25th. MoSR's Jim Kruse had two of the top 10 fastest times of the day. Justin Forbes also grabbed

MoSR Wins in Sprint at Spring Training Race in Auburn, IN
Auburn, Indiana, April 11, 2010 - Congrats to MoSR's Todd Andersen, who won the Cat A Race
(Cat 1/2/3/4) in a sprint in his custom steel DeRosa Corum. Our junior, Kevin Wynder, took third
place in the Cat C Race (Cat 5/Jr/Citizen).

the Colavita-Zipp Speed Weaponry Time Trial Series. The team had 7 racers, 4 ran the 10-mile
course twice, including Jim Kruse who raced 3 times in 3 different categories! Check out our

Success for MoSR at DRT's TT & Kokomo's 40K TT
Winona & Kokomo, Indiana, May 23, 2010 - MoSR's fabulous mountain biker, Dave McComb
took top honors overall at DRT's Winona Lake TT. John Martin placed 3rd in the Cat 3 race.
Jim Kruse continued to show off his PowerCrank legs at the Kokomo 40K TT with a smashing time
of 56:42! Only two other riders broke the hour. Adam Barton, Chuck South, and Justin Forbes
came in 6th, 7th, and 8th, respectively. Our Woman of Steel Darlene Barton took top honors in the
women's category and Pat Herrick came in first in the standard class.

Colavita-Zipp Speed Weaponry TT#3, one day after our own 40K TT Challenge in New Haven, IN.
Jeff Warner grabbed his first podium with a first-place finish in the standard category. Pat Herrick
came in fourth. Justin Forbes continued his success with a third place finish in the 30-39 age
group. Sub-hour club member Jim Kruse ended the day with a first place finish in the Cat 3 race
